Finished: Zenith Blue 996MPWR 05-14-2004, 09:46 PM My 1/24 Tamiya Porsche 996, in Zenithblau. Pretty much straight out of the box, painted with Tamiya acrylics. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=502/67954100_0068.jpg My first pic posted on AF. I'm learning to use the new digital camera, so I promise more images as I figure it out! Hmmm, 80Kb max per image isn't really very big, is it? MPWR 05-14-2004, 10:09 PM 86_SR5 05-14-2004, 10:10 PM looks good. nice camera you have, what kind is it? the body looks good, did you clear/polish, wax? MPWR 05-14-2004, 10:23 PM Thank you. It's clearcoated with Tamiya acrylic clear (X-20?), polished and waxed. The camera's a Canon A70- if you can tell anything about it from these pics, you must know more about it then I do! 86_SR5 05-14-2004, 10:27 PM I can tell it has macro. That's more than mine does, the car looks fantastic. What's going to be your next build? That's more than mine does, the car looks fantastic. What's going to be your next build? No, the real question is what will me my next finished.... Lets see, could be either the GT2, Ferrari Mythos, F50, Z3, or one of a couple of M3's. But now that I have this spiffy new toy, I can post progress pics! SupaMan89T 05-14-2004, 11:15 PM great build i love how you used the road map. Jay! 05-14-2004, 11:27 PM Hmmm, 80Kb max per image isn't really very big, is it?Depends on the JPEG compression ratios, which in turn depends on what photo editing software you use... Anyhow, it looks really nice. If you can swing it, I'd love to see pics taken in some bright sunlight. ;) jswillmon 05-15-2004, 12:12 AM paint looks excelent, in my opinion it looks like it could stand to be lowerd a bit. Other than that looks great. I also like your choice of backdrop. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
