Custom Pro Street SuperbeePurpura Delujo 05-13-2004, 03:58 AM Well, I'm broke, and get bored alot of the time so I've decided to piece a few left overs together to make this mongrel Pro Streeter, just some begining pictures for now but you get the idea, read my signature for what it'll have. http://img19.photobucket.com/albums/v57/PurpuraDelujo/Mvc-113f.jpg http://img19.photobucket.com/albums/v57/PurpuraDelujo/Mvc-114f.jpg http://img19.photobucket.com/albums/v57/PurpuraDelujo/Mvc-115f.jpg http://img19.photobucket.com/albums/v57/PurpuraDelujo/Mvc-116f.jpg http://img19.photobucket.com/albums/v57/PurpuraDelujo/Mvc-117f.jpg http://img19.photobucket.com/albums/v57/PurpuraDelujo/Mvc-118f.jpg http://img19.photobucket.com/albums/v57/PurpuraDelujo/Mvc-119f.jpg http://img19.photobucket.com/albums/v57/PurpuraDelujo/Mvc-120f.jpg kicker1_solo 05-13-2004, 04:16 AM sweet, I love the color :) bill_kustomz 05-13-2004, 04:20 AM 1 word SICK thats how all car models should be built no matter what brand AstroRide44 05-13-2004, 09:26 AM what happened to to blower belt? and whats under the black bumper in ther second pic? jgmodelcars 05-13-2004, 01:10 PM wow looing good, fomr the first pic i thought it was done lol rx7king 05-13-2004, 01:22 PM thats awesome, i also love the color GvEman 05-13-2004, 01:28 PM Nice car! i love muscle cars=) and that are going to be a sweet one;) Howielong 05-13-2004, 02:56 PM Looks like a killer project. Sigmaman 05-13-2004, 08:09 PM Tough as nails.Killer! Purpura Delujo 05-13-2004, 10:00 PM Thanks for the replies :) I had the batteries under the back to hold the stance up, I hope the stance will look like that, front will be on the ground because airbags will be deflated. I'm trying to make the cross member a little higher so the engine comes out more and the front can get lower to the ground, B bodies have really big cross members. The Blower belt will be either made from a few fan belts lying around, or use the one from a 68 Firebird. I know the colour suits the car very well but it will be recovered. I only have the white stripe left (if I can find it) and I've always liked black, blown big block Mopars so.... Purpura Delujo 05-17-2004, 11:37 PM Haven't done alot, I'm out of glue, near out of most paints and I'm doing a few mods to my old Roadrunner model for my friend. I've repainted the Hemi and cut the styrene for the tubs. Need glue to go any further. http://img19.photobucket.com/albums/v57/PurpuraDelujo/Mvc-140s.jpg http://img19.photobucket.com/albums/v57/PurpuraDelujo/Mvc-139s.jpg http://img19.photobucket.com/albums/v57/PurpuraDelujo/Mvc-138s.jpg _WIDE_LOAD_ 05-18-2004, 12:50 AM hey purpura, good to see you actually doing something wiht yoself man....lookin pretty SIK. later bro, WIDE SonyMobile 05-18-2004, 07:53 AM Looks awesome, I think im going to have to start re-building my Hemi-Cuda :iceslolan aviv 05-18-2004, 11:45 AM wow nice engin u got there Purpura Delujo 05-19-2004, 01:25 AM Thanks, finally picked up some glue today so tonight I will glue those tubs in and do more to my Roadrunner bonnet, I'll take a photo of that too. Cheers, more superbee pics later today. Purpura Delujo 05-19-2004, 10:36 PM Tubs half done, interior has base coats, just one more of the hemi for the hell of it (with new painted carbs), diff is shortened and disc brakes have been mocked on. http://img19.photobucket.com/albums/v57/PurpuraDelujo/Mvc-146s.jpg http://img19.photobucket.com/albums/v57/PurpuraDelujo/Mvc-145s.jpg http://img19.photobucket.com/albums/v57/PurpuraDelujo/Mvc-144s.jpg http://img19.photobucket.com/albums/v57/PurpuraDelujo/Mvc-143s.jpg http://img19.photobucket.com/albums/v57/PurpuraDelujo/Mvc-142s.jpg Purpura Delujo 05-21-2004, 12:12 AM Ok, more photos then. Tubs are done, just need to sand the putty..Yes they fit like a XL woman in a M sized dress. http://img19.photobucket.com/albums/v57/PurpuraDelujo/Mvc-149s.jpg http://img19.photobucket.com/albums/v57/PurpuraDelujo/Mvc-148s.jpg http://img19.photobucket.com/albums/v57/PurpuraDelujo/Mvc-147s.jpg ProSStreet 05-21-2004, 12:59 AM TOO COOL!!! where'd yah get those awesome wheels and tires? GvEman 05-21-2004, 11:53 AM sweet! GT-Alex 05-21-2004, 04:13 PM Those tyres are huge ! Very agressive-looking car. Howielong 05-21-2004, 04:43 PM Nice fitment on the wheels. looks good. Purpura Delujo 05-21-2004, 10:27 PM Thanks for the replies! The slicks are actually some Tyrell/Yamaha F1 rear slicks, the front tires I don't know where they came from. The wheels came from the Revell-Monogram 78 Firebird Trans Am model, I used some old Snap-Tite Kenworth rig rear wheels to make the rear wheels that deep. I'm not sure what to do next, probably start the long stretch to make the scratch built front end. geofroley 05-21-2004, 10:34 PM Did you custom fab that blower? Looks incredible. ol' dude 05-21-2004, 10:38 PM Hey man that is looking sweet!! Great job!!! Purpura Delujo 05-21-2004, 10:45 PM No, the blower came from the kit originally, I may or may not change the carbs, they are quite oversized (came stock with the Hemi) so I might see what the Superbees originals look like on the original blower. The scoop is from the AMT Flipnose, I only glued a small piece of styrene on top of the blower to get a little more raise from the block. Thanks again for the replies, I best go do some more on this. JBarry 05-22-2004, 01:03 AM Good looking build you have here. Keep up the great work. J. Barry vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
