mustang python

yo...this chick that i work w/ at the waffle house got a Mustang Python 4.6 about 2 months ago...she nor i know squat about the car...i had never heard of one or seen one before in my life. I am assuming that it is a gt w/ a little more kick, i fogot what year it is, but i am almost certain its a 97 or 98...i rode in it w/ her and its pretty quick. im just trying to help her find out what shes got for HP and maybe even a little history on the car. :dunno: Any reply is much appreciated

all Pythons are a v6 that i have EVER heared of, the are basicly just a V6 stang w/ duals and a kit

no Pythons were real, a 5000 option from the factory that has a v6 w/ Python decals, duals and a bodykit

Dude i am not a complete moron...ive looked under the hood...its a v8...and on the dash on the pass. side there is a stainless steel decal that has a production #...its got original paint and body, the decals that say "Python" are worn and looked to be as old as the original paint... i dunno guys i dont know what to think? its way too quick to be a v6...the 99-00 body styles are completely diff from 96-98 it isnt what your thinking of... and it isnt a cobra cuz it aint got no cobra decal... i think its an alien

well thats all a v6 python is, a v6 w/ a pythin kit, they probably just put a pythin package on a gt, wither way its just stock rice

It depends on what years you are referring to but even if you kept it to 87-93 GT's. It's would actually be all an LX was a GT w/o the body kit cause the GT's were made before LX's with the Sport Package option(5.0). Plus other small things that aren't important.
