98 Accord hard to start

Message:
My 98 honda accord lx is hard to start at times
and cut off a couple of times in the last 2
weeks. I checked the PCM codes (hot wire pin
8 and 13 on the DLC) and got 67 (Catalyst
system efficient below threshold) or 76 (don't
exist according to Hanes manual for a 4 cyl.). I
changed the plugs and gave fuel injector
cleaner which fixed the check engine light for
about 2 weeks. I think its may be the oxygen
sensor.

The miles are about 65K. Could the cat code be do to the ignition switch?
My brother called me about 5 months ago about the recall letter sent to my parents address, but the of course the car had no problem then. On top of that the ignition switch was replaced 4 years ago because someone tried to steal the car and busted the ignition. Anyway, I forgot about the recall letter and went to the honda web site yesterday and found out about it again. You have to have the VIN number to get the info from honda. There is a danger of the car stalling at high speeds!!!! Happened to me as I was making a slow turn. I will take it to the dealer Friday. This seems to be a problem for most Honda's-- if all the post I've been reading are the same problem. Honda "can't" do a public recall!!! So, everyone replaces the main relay, ignitor, plugs and wires, distributor, fuel pump etc! lol :nono:

Catalyst system efficient below threshold means your catalyst converter is fried (or about to). catalyst converter covered under 8years/80K ml warranty.

code 76(P0306) doesn't apply to you, it misfire in cylinder #6
