wet sanding tamiya acrylics

can it be done?? i'am painting the roof of the castrol mugen nsx
and i must have not thinned the park green enough
and it has some orange peel on it :banghead:
i looked in the other thred's about polishing and they all
seem to talk about enamel paint what do i do??

Any paint can be wet sanded.

Worked fine on my 288 GTO in Tamiya Italian Red. Rubs through quick though. Careful!

Yes, acrylics can be sanded, but very, very carefully. You should wait until the paint is fully cured ,which could be weeks depending on the type of paint, thickness, humiduty and temperature. Also be careful the paint doesn't flake away from the surface as you sand and handle it. Priming before the colour coat will minimise the chances of that hapening.
