slotted=vented

slot is a type of vent. there are circular, square, retangular, triangle? etc.

hey, i have a 240sx so i DONT have very much room... i can only fit about a 10" box in my trunk... which would be best for me, the ported or sealed?

depends on your 10" and how much space it needs and how much space you're willing to give up. What sub do you have?

2 10" Fosgate HE's... i only want it to go out no more than 2 ft. but the limiting factor is the height. I can only go about 14 in. up.

go with sealed. 1.0 cubes ported isn't enough for those subs to perform too well. Sealed should be good enough.

subs don't put out power. They handle power, but not put out. IF you need trunk space, go with the sealed box.

well yeah but you knew what i ment. ok what about something like this (but with some rockfords of course). Will that still hit just as hard?

And what about this... do these actually sound good? (with Rockfords)

I would think that the sound waves would cross and cause interferance or distortion. I dunno i'm just goin off what little i learned about sound waves in the 9th grade. So naturally i have forgotten most of it.
