honda civic roughj idle

i have 88 honda civic and I worked on head. After assembling car run ok but on stop sign or red light if I put in neutral or park it make idle go up and down from900 to 1500. It is so painful because people looking the car.First I thought I have to bleed cooling system and I did. I bleed the cooling system even engine was cold and also I bleed when engine was hot but problem still same. Please tell me what to check next. ::evillol:

but it's the idle control valve under the throttle body...or you have a vacuum leak.....

Move the thread please.....um.... we might have to answer him.... !! Oops! guess I did.....

I understand this guy's pain. I wouldn't want to be seen in a Civic either.

Or maybe it isn't a honda at all, maybe it's an infiniti... and he's assuming that it's made by Durango?

Maybe I should go run him down in my Toyota Civic with the Infiniti motor, Nissan windows and Acura glove box door, and tell him what I think.....:)

Some people get lost even in cyberspace.
Try cleaning the fuel intake valve- an additive to the gas tank. If that does not work change the TPS (throttle position sensor.)

btw why the hell did you think bleeding the cooling system would fix it?
