honda civic roughj idlekamleshsingh 05-05-2004, 12:25 PM i have 88 honda civic and I worked on head. After assembling car run ok but on stop sign or red light if I put in neutral or park it make idle go up and down from900 to 1500. It is so painful because people looking the car.First I thought I have to bleed cooling system and I did. I bleed the cooling system even engine was cold and also I bleed when engine was hot but problem still same. Try cleaning the fuel intake valve- an additive to the gas tank.
