Just wondering if anyone out there knows if you can swap a 5 speed tranny from a 98 tacoma (3.4L) into a 95 4 runner (3.0L) that has a 5 speed now. Is it a direct bolt in? different ratios? need different transfer case? need adapter?

They are both the same transmission (R150F). I think the bellhousings are even the same for 3.0s and 3.4s. You won't need any adapters.
