I could be wrong, but that looks like the 18G turbo in that pic. I haven't seen the Greddy badge on the compressor housing in any 15G or 19T kits. Do you have a closeup pic?

Change of plans im going to keep the turbo kit and the d16, what internals will give me the most power, I am keeping it at 6-7 psi, what internals do i need to raise the boost to like 15psi

For a reliable 15psi you really want to go for pistons and rods. You don't have to have the block bored out, but getting a good hone on the cylinder walls is a must to ensure that your rings seal correctly with your setup. I was quoted at $100 from a local machine shop to do the ring fitment and $140 to hone the block. Also, because the D rods were so skimpy from the factory, a small amount of the inside of the block will have to be ground out to ensure proper rod clearance.

For the pistons - stay with stock compression ratio. They're stronger so they won't crack under the same load. Also, the stock CR will keep that "daily driver" feeling. You'll also get faster response from the turbo.

I recommend Eagle rods and SRP / Carillo / Ross pistons. There are so many piston makers that it's silly.

While you're inside the block, replace the headgasket with an OEM version and drop those head bolts in favour of some ARP studs. Dey B coo, man! Replace the water pump and other necessary gaskets along with rod bearings.

on a d series? if i were you, i'd get the block sleeved as well as new internals.. especially for 15 psi. i'm not sure if weisco and JP and them make pistons for D series, but you could look into it.. you'd most likely want to redo the valvetrain as well

I forgot to mention that!

Take a look at this link:

Sleeving at very reasonable prices. Too bad AEBS doesn't have the hookup on the D - I'm a dealer for them. :banghead:

internals that will give you some extra power would be camshaft, but to raise the boost you are going to want:

Pistons
Rods
and some good tuning . . . . .

you can also get stuff such as valve, springs, and retainers for the head, but they are not needed or required. Getting your timing right does help with the car running, and performing a lot better. Hope that helps.
