cavalier body workjustmac333 05-03-2004, 10:04 PM hey, just looking for a little help. i'm going to be buying a cavalier z24 this weekend. don't know the exact year but the body style is the same as the 96. any way it got in an accident and needs a passenger side door and front fender. i have a couple of questions. first does anyone know if the fender is bolted, riveted, or welded, and where a good place to look for the replacement parts might be. how muc of a project it is. any special tools i might need that you know of. thanx cavyman 05-04-2004, 05:09 PM salvage yard for parts, and the fender is bolted Three_Fingers 05-04-2004, 09:31 PM Fender is bolted but there's a spot weld or two at each front corner (inline with the bolts) where it attaches to the fron support. You can drill it out. cavyman 05-05-2004, 10:00 AM my 98 had no welds, just bolts when i changed the drivers justmac333 05-05-2004, 11:53 AM thanks for the input. the fender beinng bolted sets my mind at ease at least this way i can do it myself without having to weld the thing back on. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
