i went out drifting tonite and when i was done i noticed that my gas tank meter said i have a full tank, but when i started i was at half and well usally it gose bak to normal after i drift but tonite it wouldnt move at all it just stays there, so im like WTF why wont it go bak down , would anyone happend to know why im having this problem ????

maybe the floater that has the sensor is stuck up there somewhere lol...or maybe a bad gauge.

it's the car telling you to quit drifting, you gas guage dont like you doin that.

i just opend the thing and checked everything the floater was where it supposed to be but damn still wont go down

the fuel is still kind of swishing around, wait till tomorrow and see if it went down, ya know how when you fill up, it takes about 10-15 minutes to actually show a full tank. it might just be that, the floater is still kind of bobing up and down, so the gauge gets confused.

ye but ummm i was at half tank yesterday after dirfting it got stuck at full tank and well it hasnt gone down since and tat was on sunday nite and its monday nite now :-/ i been driving around alot too and it wont go down -_-

i found something white in the gas tank idk if its the fuel pump but wires are connected to it anyone know what that is >????

and it caused the floater to stick to your gas tank

Granted, he doesn't work on cars much, but at least give him the right answer.
That is your fuel pump and sock.
Goto nissan and get the whole fuel pump assembly replaced!
If that doesn't work, your screwed!

nm fixed it i took out the floater and just knocked it a bit and it works now all fine :) thanx for your help
