I have been researching turboing the KA24E, i am ready to start this project. At the moment i am only going to run 6psi on the stock engine. I am having a front mount intercooler put in, and a blow off valve put on.
I need a little info on feul upgrades. I will upgrade to a bigger feul pump 255 walbaro pump, BUT i need to know if i need to get my ecu tuned to use 370cc injectors.

TURBO MANIFOLD : I was originaly going to order one from realnissan.com but they shut down a few days ago, anyone know were i can get one?

iyou will need a sacf to get the full use out of the new 370cc injectors or else it will be a waste of $ the ecu will still see that you have stock njectors if you dont have afc..

yeah same here about the manifold i know about the jgs one but i would feel better for one already made for me if anyone knows please help us out.

You could try Jim Wolf ECU... e-mail Unstable Hybrids and ask them about the manifold.

turbo2nr, What do you think of a T3 running a .48ar turbine and a 60 trim compressor on a KA24DE at 6 lbs of boost? That would be safe on pretty much everything stock right?

yes it would that size is good for 6psi but if u plan to go with more boost later you will need a bigger a/r i honestly would go with atleast .55ar but if you dont plan on running more then 6psi the the .48 is good, but if you want you car to be realiable i really suggest looking into proper fuel managment for the turbo and make sure you have proper detaniation and make sure you aren't running lean after the turbo goes in.. get a egt gauge or at least a air fuel.. as for turbos t3 is good but i like the t3/t04 or even a t04b with a .54ar that would be nice also.. the 60trim compressor should be good enough for you application..

I was looking into a t3/t4. And yea i would definately get a air/fuel guage and probably a s-afc and a denzo fuel pump. Thanx man.

fyi s-afc wont work as well without upgraded injectors.. but good luck

for the manifold, contact www.back-yard-productions.com they make custom manifolds for the ka24de, so i'm sure they have made one or can make one for the ka24e.

as for a turbo... i personly will try to get a t25 or 28. virtualy instant spool... :) and since you plan on only running low boost, it should be fine..

as for manifolds, there is a group buy planned for a mani on 240sx.org. check it out.

please dont flame me on the turbo choice, its been done with good results.

its to small man i dont like t-25 they give problem on dsm and they have only 2.0l displacement the ka24de is 2.4l wid the dsm they fall out the powerband at 5500rpms so it not the ideal choice of turbo if it stops making boost at around 5k..

I might get just the manifold from here but with an external wastegate since i wanna run a different setup then what they offer.I already have a GReddy Type-S bov sittin in my room:)

man just get a rb if u want to drag and power up ur car if not get a sr -_- no need to warrie about parts cuz there everything for them

KA is only 100cc's smaller than the RB25. KA is good for drag as well. It is easier and cheaper to get parts for. You don't have to wait for "overnight parts from Japan,".
