I have a 1999 Chevy Cavalier just the basic plane jane.....4 door, most likely a SOHC, 4 cyl, auto, PS, PB, AC, its the 2.2 liter.....It makes a ticking noise like it the lifters, but it only does it when the motor warms up and the oil gets warm, when its cold in the morning or hasn't been ran for a while and its not up to operating temp then it doesn't make the noise.....Can anyone help me out......If so is it easy to fix, what do i need to fix it, how hard is it to fix, and etc.....? Thank You for your help... :1zhelp:

Try synthetic oil, Castrol Syntec worked for me.
Dino oil loses it's viscosity some when it's hot out.
