You may want to check the simple stuff first as the primary fule pump is inside the gas tank. To get at that you will have to drop the tank. A simple thing is there is a fuel filter in line just outside of the gas tank. This little black canister is a little larger than a soda can. Being that your Park Ave. is almost 20 years old it may be just about full. That can reduce flow and pressure while running. One note of warning...if the car has been running within the past few minutes, that canister will be under pressure. Bleed off fuel line pressure and wrap the filter housing and lines with rags to catch any spray when loosing the connections. That is not only simple, but cheap too (as compaired to a fuel pump change out ).
