I have a Tamiya 350Z. Should I take the same steps painting the interior as I do the body? Thanks.

Yes, except for the sanding, polishing and the like, as the interior doesn't need to be shiny like the outside (obviously).

no, you can just paint directly on to plastic.
Just make sure to wash it first and if the plastic is darker thad the color you might want to prime it.
no waxing/polishing needed if that's what your asking

Yeah it's black so I will be priming it. Finally, something to do whole waiting for the body kits to arrive. Thanks for the help guys!

just prime it then use either a flat color paint or a gloss paint with a coat of dullcote over it.

I would suggest priming it. I got into serious problems doing masking without primer. Although for this kind of priming I use DupliColor transparent plastic primer.

I just applied the second coat of primer and it will be painted tomorrow.
