Same license plate " 049 PF"zx4000 04-27-2004, 08:34 PM you can see below same license plate " 049 PF". One of two is normal F1 Mclaren and another you know, so is there any close relationship between two cars? is this also topic which had already been discussed before? anyhow i'll be happy to confirm this my small curiosity and already seem that my curiosity is behind of your top acknowledge. :banghead: http://www.exoticcarsite.com/pictures/Cars/mclaren/Gt-longtail/mclaren_f1_gt-4.jpg http://www.exoticcarsite.com/pictures/Cars/mclaren/F1/mclaren_f1-49.jpg mini magic 04-27-2004, 11:11 PM just a temp. plate. nothing special Mr. Bernoulli 04-28-2004, 03:18 AM Yep. They're known here as trade plates. When the cars are at McLaren, they remove the customers' plates and only ever drive on these. UK plates have to be black on white on the front and black on yellow at the rear. zx4000 04-28-2004, 03:30 AM Yep. They're known here as trade plates. Kirium 11-15-2004, 11:59 AM Anyone have any idea what chassis number the silver with HDF kit is?? Peloton25 11-15-2004, 02:55 PM Not to my knowledge. There are at least two of these silver HDF Kitted F1s, and possibly a third as well. One of them was used in the "Martin Brundle's Supercars" DVD, but I don't believe that was the one you see pictured here. >8^) ER diabloroadster2 11-15-2004, 05:44 PM i just noticed that the mirror on the silver one is turned in. do they all do that? mini magic 11-15-2004, 06:03 PM yes Kirium 11-16-2004, 01:59 AM The silver one looks exactly like 'R66 MCL' http://community.webshots.com/s/image5/5/32/50/65753250RYGEjU_fs.jpg but i'm sure the other silver ones with HDF do aswell... Also while i'm pondering things here at work, in the pic of the black long tail (Is that 54F1GT that belongs to the Sultan??) there is an LM (i think... could be a GTR i guess) sitting in the truck in the back ground. is that LM3 or might it be the Sultans orange LM? (Or is it a GTR?) Perhaps he was receiving both at the same time... who knows... Someone feel free to stop me if this has all been speculated on before... Peloton25 11-16-2004, 03:29 AM I believe the silver one in that shot is the 'R66 MCL' car, but its strictly guess. Of course the interior of that silver car as seen at the factory is nearly identical to what was seen inside the 'M99 PES' car that was used in that Martin Brundle video, so it's hard to say. The steering wheels don't match, but that's an easy item to swap out. You won't believe it, but that longtail is 56XPGT, the Silverstone Green prototype. Yeah, I know, it looks so black. The LM in the trailer is XP1 LM. Those two cars, along with XP5 and GTR #01R were used in some sort of display. This is the only quality photo I have seen from that display unfortunately. I am fairly shocked that more have not surfaced yet. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v482/Peloton25/McLaren%20F1/f1_47.jpg >8^) ER vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
