I am looking at purchasing a 944 non-turbo for $4000. Before purchasing, I like many others here want to get some speed out of this. What I want to know. 0-60 stock how fast is it? What is the easiest option for speed?

I was thinking turbo. 200 HP will do for now.

To answer your question, lift hood, remove radiator cap, drive 951 underneath, install radiator cap. That's the easiest option for more speed.

1/4 mile: 16.1 secs (15.7 by Motor Trend)

Top Speed 130 mph

Those are all factory specs so don't take them as written in stone.
