Hello everyone, I am a new Integra owner working on a project and just wanted to get some info on where the best place is to get parts. After numerous problems and trouble finding parts for my old car (1999 Daewoo Nubira) and not wanting to buy new car, I picked up the Integra from a friend. It's a 1990 RS, 127,000 miles, new paint, job clean interior for $1500. Rahter than spend money on a new car I am going to hook this thing up as a little side project, I have been looking on ebay and have found a ton of parts but before I buy anything I wanted to get some feedback on experience with them and if there are cheaper places out there. You probably wondering why the hell I am going to put money into an old car but I scored it cheap and have had a few imports so I decided to do it. I'd like to buy an Exhaust, Intake, and Header this week so let me know where I should look, anyone on the board have parts? Thanks guys/gals.

Well sense it is a 90 model you could gain a little power from some 94+ cams and a 94-95 intake manifold. Then get a header, 2.25" mandrel bent exhaust and a intake ( any brand will work just make sure you get a quality fliter like K&N though). And you will see some improvements for not a lot of money.

I have a set of cams and a intake manifold if you are interested. Let me know if you are. ;)

what are the cams out of? I might be intrested also instead of the LSvtec swap. I have been hearing thats it's hard abuse on a motor. I would rather do cams and intake and a small shot of laughing gas.

What could I expect from doing this?

The cams are out of a 95 LS and the Intake manifold is from a 95 as well. I have two intake manifolds. You can expect maybe 10 or so hp from the combo. The 94+ ls cams are more agressive than the 90-93 and the 90-91 were even less agressive than the 92-93's. The 94-95 intake manifold is better flowing than the 90-93 as well. Direct bolt on and in (for the cams lol).

How much would you want for the combo?

The 18" wheels will slow you down more than what the mods will gain. Also for $89 for header & $129 for exhaust you may not be getting a quality part. :2cents:
