Tamiya 24145: Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R33)

Hi, i want to buy Tamiya Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec (R33) but i don't know one thing - is this model has got engine ? Has anybody got this kit ? I want to know some info about it.

This kit does not have a full engine - only what can be seen from underneath.

The only tamiya skyline that has an engine is the R32 (any version: Castrol, Zexel...) :)

I am a newbie here and I too am looking for a Skyline with an engine. Can anyone tell me if this kit has an engine in it?

That bites, the r34 has a better body style in my opinion. I really don't care for the lines of the r32. Guess I'll have to do like I seen someone else in here do and make mine have an engine.

The Aoshima GT WIng Veilside has one..but the hood needs to be cut off to view it.

i ordered a fujimi honda crx and some aoshima 18's, does this kit have a motor?? or much detail? if it dont have a full motor it is ok, i will just sawp it out for a vtec i have here. but i wondering if it has one, and the box is in shipping and i cant wait to know!

Ok I get the message that all Tamiya R32's are the only ones with engines. Are there any other brands besides Tamiya that make the R33 or R34 with engines in them?

ok thanks for the answer, guess I'm gonna get the R34 and make an engine detail for it, maybe a blown chevy 454 lol

I already thought of that. Just cut away the top part of the fake engine, and glue the chevy block right onto the oil pan. Its a perfect fit!
