well back when i started talking shit i was on buzz, but now i quit and im thinkin more bout what i say on here, but im 15 and grew up in the garage so i know enough about cars to restore one, in fact i did half the restoration on a 65 falcon, mostly engine work, alittle body work training, but i can work any tool so ya, i also know how to drive, and have experienced racing, but i dont want to put all-trac into a probably a 96, for rally

instantly i know ima have to raise the car alittle bit and get a tighter suspension though, and do some work with the differential for the four wheel drive and the length of it, but thats no big.

honestly you should try to find out how much its gunna be in the long run...then find a 6th gen gt4 in europe and try to see how much it would be to buy and ship one over here.....

THERE IS A GT-4 IN CALI!!!!i havnt seen it yet but everyone in cali is rich (haha) and wouldnt doubt it, its a gt4 a silver one with the words gt4 on the back in cali.. near S.F. in the north bay, i dunno if he just got a body kit on a 6th gen celcia and the gt-4 hood and the letters or if it was real or not.... bunch of people at myschool said they know what i am talking about but im gunna try and comfirm this....

i would look into shipping one over here like have itdropped off in NY and drove back to wherever u live...its only about $1000 to hacve a car shipped over and prob about $500 to change the guage cluisters and get it smog ready...but finding and purchasing one would be a beartch

just my 2Cents

Celica offered a six gen alltrac over seas. in order to fit the rear axil you will need to have a body shop cut out the rear floor pan and replace it with one from the gt4. The new pan does not have a place for the spare tire in order to make the room. Also a new gas tank must be installed as well. As far as smog goes these engines are not equiped for smog equipment so even though they can pass emissions tests because they burn so clean. They will not pass a visual inspection so beware of laws before this swapp is attempted. I am currently in the middle of this all trac gt-4 swapp and will be one of few to attempt it in the us.

Import laws make it very difficult and expensive to bring a car over. Usually the only way to import them is to make them undriveable..IE cutting the car in half. Even if you get around the laws and money the car will not be street legal seeing how it was never made for US distribution. I am using a 3rd gen. 3sgte in my car and that is illegal as well but there are ways to get it insured if very careful with upgrade wording when filing.

yeah, thats like with the mini cooper from europe. you have to get all the american upgrades just so it meets us safety standards.

Hey kid, all i could say is...money talks..
if you can spell money
people could bring that car to you faster than
you can ride yo bicycle to a import dealership
j/k i just think it's funny, gt4 aren't popular because of
its designs, performance and weight. Never the less
it didn't sell, so gt4 stopped popping. That car you are looking for *or simply just the engine is hard to find.
And if you try to convert a fwd to a rwd turbo you may find yourself deeply more work to do than you think. Anyway. my final word, money talks, hope you win a lottery(*if you do, can i have half of it (^_^) ).
