Can anyone explain the difference between at and st and ht tires? Thanks!

I suspect you've looked at a line of tires and noticed that the name was the same, but there were 2 letters that followed the name.

For example: Goodstone Classic AT, Goodstone Classic ST, Goodstone Classic HT.

Those are actually part of the name and officially mean nothing (just like the name means nothing, other than it's a label).

However, most of the time those letters give you a hint about the intended service. AT = All Terrain, ST = Street Tread, HT = Highway Tread.

Just remember this isn't universal and it's better to read what the manufacturer says the intended usage is.

Hope this helps.

Hey, Roger, you can also ask Grant@TireRack he is quite knowledgeable in the rims/tires area.
