I need some assistance please
My check Engine light has come on and stayed on for about the last 5 months. I have been to every garage there is to have it looked at and had some other work done that was found.
I was told that it is possible that I have faulty wiring in my Windstar that is causing this. Could it be that a fuel filter is needed and how much does one cost and what is the time that it takes to replace this item. I don't want the garage to over charge me for something that could be a miner thing. I am not able to do it myself nor do I have anyone that can do it, so a garage is my only choice.

that is such an easy fix. i noticably improved the gas milage of my car by changing the fuel filter. its a very simple job, atleast for my car. not sure what kinda car you have, that will help. and this is something you can do yourself with the right tools.
