i know there are always debates about 8 being better than 4 s wif turbos an other way around i'll put up a poll to see which one ppl think goes harder, stops quicker and goes faster on the track (btw this is ur own opinion)

I think a J-Spec Evo (205Kw) would be quicker around a track than a Monaro...reasons being AWD, Weight.

Never liked the Monaro/GTO so I'd have to say the EVO, although not a big fan of those either.

the Evo and the monaro are two completely different cars in every single aspect. There really is no way to compare two such different cars...... The evo has the advantage in handling around the track with its 4wd system but i'd go the monaro for gut wrenching all out straight line power. The monaro also has a bit more luxury on the inside whereas the evo is more of a rough rally kinda car, not so much on luxury. Obviously the evo has superior gas mileage over the V8 monaro. In looks i'd go for the monaro (GTO) over the evo. of course, everyone has their own opinion on these things. A lot of people hate the GTO simply because its a Holden to begin with rather than a real Pontiac. Anyway, thats my 2 cents.

Hate the EVO all you want it still one fast ass rally sedan. Straight line performance, sorry I don't think the Monero (GTO) is even close to a J-Spec EVO VI, the J-Spec EVO VI is even faster than the USDM EVO VIII, and the USDM EVO VIII is even quicker than the Monero. Why do I say that, besides the magzine tests and what not and witnessed track times, I also remember seeing a guy with a stock GTO run low 14s all day at the track alittle while back, then he finally cracked the 13s with a 13.8, the guy was pretty damn happy with that time. Then on the other hand on the same day, there was a guy in a stock EVO running high 13s all day, including a best time of 13.8, this guy was very disappointed, especially when other stock and near stock EVOs were running low 13s and high 12s that day.
