Any Toyota 22R drag racers out there?Rob Rev 04-18-2004, 06:17 AM I was woundering if anyone out there was drag racing there 22R pickups or celica's? If so what are some of the 1/4 mile times and MPHs ? --------------------------------------------------------------- Here is some of my times and what I am running 1988 Toyota Pick-up LC engineering stage 5 motor = Stage 5 20R head =Adjustable cam gear =Web cam =LC headers 1 5/8 primary to 2" collector =10.5:1 JE Pistons =Pro rods =Lighten and Knifed edged crank =9 lbs flywheel w/ A.C.T. 4 puck race clutch =Crank scraper =Cannon intake w/ 44 phh Mikuni sidedrafts =94' 5 speed trans =4.56:1 rearend from V6 4x4 w/locker =26" mickey thompson slicks So far my best time with this motor is : 60 ft time= 1.94 1/8 mile ET= 9.02 1/8 MPH = 75.38 1/4 mile ET = 14.29 1/4 MPH = 91.49 Here is a pic at the race track. My goal is to run in the 11's with it. I don't quite know how long it will take to complete cause i am doin the work myself but the truck is goin to be all business. My best to date without proper tuning for 1/4 mile 11.79@117mph 1973 Toyota Carina with a 22RTE T-68 Turbo Basicly stage 5 LC head and some other stuff LOL...
