OK have a friend at work that has a 300D. No rust on the body, a couple of minor dents.

Car starts, and drives, but kind of slow to take off and you have to stay on the gas to get it to move, if you let off it stops, I can live with that I am a lead foot.

Main problem is the engine continues to run even after you turn it off. You have to get out of the car open the hood, then hit the fule shutoff switch.

Secondary problem bad ac compressor, a common for this vehicle.

He only wants 750 for the vehicle, and was going to get if for my 15 year old soon to be 16.

Any thoughts, would this be an easy fix or am I looking for bigger problems.

Hi, I have a 1985 300CD turbo mercedes, to me it sounds like you might not have a vaccume line connected correctly. That has happened to me before when I dissconnected them to change the oil. If the car is in good condition and not too high of mileage, I personally think that it would be a great deal. I have my parents car and I love it. Just thought the advice might help.
