Discovered my passenger side carpet soaked through. Had to pull the seat, got a fan under the carpet trying to dry it out. Any ideas where the leak is, or how to go about finding it?

Might be the back window, I've heard of that happening before.

Do you have a club cab, or a regular cab?

Its a club. Someone mentioned maybe clogged a/c drain line. Looked all over the firewall for one, am I looking in the wrong place?

I bet you it's the back window, or the plastic that runs over the side windows of the club cab. I've seen that before.

Well, you were close. Actually above the rear club cab window, under the rubber trim. Where the roof and side are welded. Took forever to find. Thanks again.

Yeah that's what I was talking about. There's that plastic thing that runs along the base of the roof, at the top of the quarter window. Glad you found it. Did you seal the leak?

Yes, Removed the trim. Used some 50yr silicon. Is automotive Goop ok for glueing the trim back down?

I think so.

I have the same problem AGAIN or should I say still. The dealer replaced the back window once. When the water problem returned 2 years later, they said they wouldn't do anything about it, that they had fixed it once alreday. I will never buy another Dodge again.

Sorry to hear it.

I wouldn't buy another newer one. Next truck I'm going to pick up will be like an '84-'86 Ram with a 318 or something, and I shall never have to buy another truck again.

If the passenger front carpet is wet, your heater core may be leaking. Check if the antifreeze level is low. If it is, this may be your leak.

ahh, finally someone with my own problems, hey if ur front carpet is getting wet too its the drain coming out of the bottom of ur heater core through the firewall, any wind while goin down the road or sudden takeoff will cause it to come out of the drain, and run down the outer side of the drain, through the firewall, since there is no seal there, thus soaking ur carpet, put a peice of heater hose on the outside of the drain so that the wind cant blow the draining water back towards the firewall, mine drains right down to the frame by my control arms goin to my front axle, put a hose clamp or somthing on the hose so it stays nice and snug on the drain, it should be a foolproof plan
