Left Blinker amber rear light stays onmarkf 04-17-2004, 08:29 AM Gentlemen, I have a 1999 Silverado 2500, 6.0 liter, 4x4. Recently, when I activate the left blinker, the left blinker light will not make and break, but will stay on continuously and stay that way even though the turn signal arm has returned to its neutral position. I suspect a faulty turn signal relay. Any thoughts on the matter before a buy a non returnable electrical item. Thank you. jeverett 04-18-2004, 07:14 PM Have you checked the bulbs? Just a guess. markf 04-19-2004, 02:07 PM Have you checked the bulbs? Just a guess. Yes. However, I have just noticed that when the left blinker is signaling, the mileage display on the dashboard dims and gets brighter when the signal makes and breaks. jeverett 04-20-2004, 08:34 AM Hmm.. It could be a faulty blinker switch..that's what I would test first. Does the cruise control and wipers still work normally?? markf 04-20-2004, 08:39 AM Hmm..
