Sometimes I hear weird electrical noise from the dashboard and my brakes sound bad (crunching). This is only every once in a while. Also it only happens when I first start my car. This model has electrical issues from hell.

does anyone know what's up with my brakes or electrial?

It is quite possible that these two problems are linked. What might be happening is that the electrical system is sending an unwanted signal to the antilock braking system and that is causing the brakes to pulse and you will hear a "crunching" noise. As with all electrical problems, I would suggest the first thing to do is see if there are any stored trouble codes and take care of them first. Another thing you can try is disconect the antilock brake relay or fuse, if that stops the "crunching" sound then you will know if you are on the right track. Be aware that while the antilock system is disconected you will still have "regular" brakes, just minus the antilock feature. Take care.
