type r intake manifold idle problem please help!!

i was wondsering if anybody had expierince puting on a type r mainfold to a b16a head?? i recently put one on my car but it idles very high (2500 rpm). i know i need to adjust my tps but would that make it idle that high? it has been tested for manifold leaks and it is leak free do i need to re-adjust the idle on it? i replaced the iac valve since the old one didnt fit, but it was used. someone please help me with this mess!! :uhoh: :banghead:

Does the idle surge any?

it did at first then i checked the the tps and now its just idling at 2500 rpm iknow i need to re-adjust the tsp though or need a new one.

try readjusting your idle first if this doesn't carrect the problem then check your IAC

Did you screw in the Idle Screw? Screwing it in lowers the idle loosening it raises it.

My car did that before, My problem was the hose going into the firewall side of the intake manifold was loose. It caused the car to idle high and surge.
