the check engine light now appears and the engine cranks and cranks but will not start when it is wet out.. anyone have the same problem?

You need to find the code for a quicker diag., it could be a bad coil, cam, crank, sensor etc.

ok soumalainen poika, turn your ignition key to the on position 3 times in a row and watch your check engine light for the trouble codes. usually you get a code 55 when it is done giving codes. also check your grounds and if your fuel pump runs for 2 seconds when you turn the key on. check your fuel pump relay and harness to the tank for loose conections or loose grounds back at the tank. toivo
