okok i have heard celi were faster than the si and people say IVTEC just lacks ass... but i find it very different from experience of going up against one the other day. I find it my SI is way better than a VVTI GT-S What you guys think?

gts with good driver will spank an si with good drivery all day long

GT-S will own Si. GT-S is 200-300 pounds lighter than Si and has more power.

i guess with a good driver and pretty much same class car... its the driver that it all comes down to ... but ... just on performance... well i dont know... GTS isnt that impressive... and SI... well... it may look slow but... the turtle did win over the rabbit after all didnt it?

You know whats funny, 16.6 .... a 95 civic EX runs a 16.8... lol

its funny, i've read many things saying the the '99 and '00 si performed much better all around than the new si, plus the older one looks nicer. honestly though, if the gts was an auto(which they do come in) then the si would win. even tho the gts has 20 more hp, a bad launch with the 6 speed will definetly hand over the race.

hey hey, i came across one last night. my 99 si vs a gts (i dont know what year, it just had the big red oem wing and the gts logo). 4 runs stop light to ramp, ramp to freeway, and two freeway runs. me - 4, gts - 0. thats with my jrsc though. only thing that sucked with the runs were that i gave the guy a thumbs up, and he give me the middle finger. trying to give the guy props and he flips me off. :disappoin and i didnt even wanted to race him in the first place :eek7:

oh ya, and that was the first time i seen a gts with smoked lights. i kinda liked it. i thought it was kinda purdee.

He must of sucked at driving, equal drivers the GTS puts the SI in its place every time.
