Im in the market for a new car and basically I want RWD thats not an american made, had a bad experience with a camaro lol any way this brought me to nissans mainly the 240 well it seems most Hondaphiles have grown up and purchased every damn one so it brings me to its big brother the 300ZX. I cant afford a turbo model at all so My only choice is a NA, I am not looking for speed but something I can kick ass in back roads. Basicaly all I need is 300hp at the wheels, but I was wondering how is the suspension on a NA, any diff then the turbo model also how agile are these things? doesnt plow through a corner like a camaro, does it? Also why the hell is a 300ZX na with less miles cheaper then a 240 with more miles? lol just curious, any way thanks. oh yeah Year 90 and up. Im just looking for basically people who have driven these cars and can give me advice from first hand knowledge I have done my homework and I have any idea about the statistics of both these cars but people dont get into specifics really they just talk about str8 line speed with these cars so Ive noticed.

Hey, 300z's aren't made for back roads, they are low cars, very fast, very well handeling, they handle like a dream actually. the suspension on a n/a is very good. I have a GS N/A and it handels great.

Well, first off: you are not gonna find a stock '90-'96 NA 300zx with 300HP... only a TT! The stock NA has 222HP! From there you can gradually mod up to 300HP with various bolt-ons! You will get your biggest HP gain from NITROUS! Check my WEB-PAGE link for details on reaching 300HP on a NA Z-Car.
The Z-Cars are made to handle very well... notice that wide stance? It's there for a reason! Of course you can make any car better by getting better suspension mods! I am a HANDLING FREAK and can tell you what you need to make your car handle!
The reason why 240sx's are so much more expensive is simple: THE DRIFTING CRAZE! I had a 240sx and drifted in the early day's of the craze but decided to get away from the kid's that are now driving 'em! I bought my Z! Pound for Pound... TT or NA, the Z is a monster of a car! Hope this helps...

Oh... and I suppose PIKE'S PEAK isn't considered 'back-road'?<~ Maybe that was my imagination... but a 300ZX won a run up that hill a few years ago? I take my car up to the back-road/mountain roads all the time! What about the HICAS system on the TT? These cars are not made for straight-aways!
