ok when i had my piping redone the muffler guy pushed up the pipe all the way up so i wont bottom out as usual but i didnt noticed that the tip of my muffler was touching my rear bumper....so after awhile i notice that the bumper was melting right on the tip so i had it fixed and its ok now except for the tip it has all this burned plastic on it...anyone know what i can do to get rid of the problem thanx

you could try taking a razor blade and scraping the plastic off of it, and then taking something and rub it clean to get all of the stuff off that the razor blade wouldn't get off. Hope that helps. :)

Yea i would just use a razorblade and scrape it off and there are some companies that make stainless steel cleaners and it will remove scratches also. Hope this helps. ;)

maybe if you let your exhuast heat up a lot it will soften up the plastic and be easier to remove as well. get a second opinion on this, it could to the opposite and you could burn yourself.
