it all depends. On the freeway i get about 18miles to 20miles to the gallon, while in traffic and around town it can be as low as 4 miles

18-20 miles to the gallon.

I'm metric, so I don't know exactly what that means...

Ok, so how big (in gallons) is the tank? And how many miles can you go on one tank?
I can hopefully convert it so I understand the numbers a little bit better

but thanks for that bit!

18-20 miles is 29-32 kms. One tank is 100 litres which is 26.4 gallons (us) so driving on the freeway only it can go about 792 km on one tank.

In Australia we have fuel consumption on windscreens of new cars and the diablo's combined (highway and city) average consumption is 24litres per 100 km

792km TO THE TANK?!?!?!?! WTF!?!?! That's crazy!
I can't believe it...
I get 300km to the tank if i run it dry, I have a 30 litter tank, 1.3lt engine.

My dad has a 100lt tank, he's a 3.5 V6 and get's 550km if he's lucky.

I think Jim501 is more accurate

at 24liters per 100km, that's roughly 300km to the tank. Not overly impressive, and certainly expensive, but believable!
