First of all Will it fit w/o and body/frame mods except maybe motor mounst. and if so would it be worth the swap from a ka24de-t? other than the pain in the ass of having to pay $5500 just for the motor and god knows what for any upgrading. and anyone know where I can find an ABS system for a 1992 240sx and possible the four wheel steering equip...and I'd have to get the ECU upgraded for the too huh.. THX

ok I've done some reading and from what I got I'd be better off keeping my ka24de and upgrading it and not upgrading anytime soon to a rb26dett. but I was just wondering if anyone had the specs from a suped up ka24de and a sr20det. just so I don't have to anymore reading my head really hurts.. :banghead: and if anyone could give me the approximate cost of both I would really appericate it.. THX

opinion? this isnt an opinion. its either a) the rb fits the s13, or b) the rb does not fit the s13.

obviously if your willing to learn, check the faq. theres a reason its the faq, its because it has the important topics you idiot

LoL Does this guy wanna get banned or what? :screwy:

Do you even have an S13 yet? I hate these kids that buy 240's and then on their first day they wanna do something drastic like drop in an RB...

ok well thank you for answering my first question. but I wanted an opnion on my second question about keeping the ka24de not swaping for a sr20det, I had though of putting an rb in but then I realised that it was a little out of my price range. and yes I have my 240, I have had it for some time, I was just thinking insted of putting 2-3 engines in my car just go to the biggest and badest since that would be cheeping in the long run. But since I cant afford to put the rb in my car at this time I figured that maybe an sr would be good then I was reading here that there is no real diferance except mine is begger and sr is good for drifting bc higher readline. I just wanted some opnions on that. and if I should keep the ka what turbo kit should I get for it. and maybe a small list of what you guys would recomend getting for which ever engine you think I should go with.. THX again

if i had the budget, id dump the stupid ass ka24 and get the s14 sr20, the car was designed for THIS engine.

but it depends on what type of driving you will be doing. please dont be a faggot and say youll be drifting and drag racing the same car. if your drag racing, id recommend the ka24 for the touque advantage and extra .4L. if you like drift ir track, screw the engine and buy some coilovers and lsd.

Stick with the KA and turbo it, once your used to a turboed car and want to get more drift out of it, swap in an sr. But I would advise getting a bolt on turbo for your KA and upgrading the suspension first.

As for what turbo to get, check out HKS:

or Greddy:
