The vin number will give you a clue. But you will have to do some research to answer that. I think there are three possible choices. I have a 01 Taurus. 1) 3.0L Vulcan (regular gas most common) 2) 3.0L DOHC and 3) 3.0L Flex Fuel. Good luck on finding out. Could be if you call the VIN to a ford dealer he can tell you.
