Coolant to turbo and oil line hook upShawn C 04-08-2004, 03:18 PM I have a 97 civic dx sohc..I installed a turbo and I want to know if there is any way to easly hook up the cooant lines and which lines. I also took the sending unit off to put a t fitting on for oil and cant find the right thread at any stores any ideas? GScivic7 04-08-2004, 03:27 PM coolant lines? What coolant lines are you talking about. I obviously didn't do enough research before planning my turbo project back when I had a Civic because I don't remember anything about any other lines besides the oil line feeding the turbo and the return line. kenneyd 04-26-2004, 09:46 PM as far as the coolent line, their is a water line that runs from the thermostat housing to the intake, just take that line off, then run you a line from either the housing or the intake to one side of the turbo, then run you a line from the other side of the turbo to the other side, and you are done. It dont matter which way the water run it just as long as you do it. And also you may not need it hooked up, but it will prolong the turbo. The oil line not sure, napa sell some connector ends, but lines i dont think so. i ordered a steel line off ebay, and it was too short, then i took it to a forklift shop, and they gave me a used short hydro line for $10 that fit that line and also the turbo. So you can try that. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
