Help! Can anyone tell me what IMRC actuator is? and how to replace it?Also they say I need a Cam Positioning sensor. My windstar Idles rough and sometimes stalls out while driving or coming to a stop. Any advice.

IMRC= intake manifold runner control. It's a black box on the left side of the engine, attached to the (aluminum) lower intake manifold. It's got two linkages attached going to the throttle shaft for each cylinder bank.

IMRC-There are two (right and left). They use vaccum to work and you can test by connecting tubing and sucking on to see if the metal rod moves. They are fairly easy to replace. Best to change on a cold engine. I found the best price at fivestarford.com
