question about EG Civic/H22A hybrid with turboEG_Civic 04-05-2004, 09:10 PM Ive searched and searched for a turbo kit that will fit an H22 in an EG Civic hatchback. I found one at racnet.net but all they tell you is the kit and price which is : Drag Turbo Gen II Turbo Kit 1992-2000 Honda Civic Body w/H22a Engine $2995.00 Now, I want to know more about the kit, like whether it has a ballbearing upgrade, what PSI its running (it has a turbonetics Delagate wastgate and its spring is 7 PSI so Im guessing about 7-8). How much HP will it add and how much PSI will this run safely on stock internals. Does anybody have a Hybrid with this kit. A guy at turbo-kits.com told rev hard has a kit for this hybrid but I could not find it. Please help, any info would be SOOOOO appreciated EDIT: The turbo is a Turbonetics T3/T4 turbo quick95civic 04-07-2004, 10:36 PM I think the kit you are talking about is assmebled by dragturbokits.com If so you can contact them and there should be someone there that can help you. That is where I got my kit and they were pretty helpful if you just keep on top of them. They are based out of Cali. 1-510-440-9894 95TegSE 04-08-2004, 04:01 PM The H22a runs pretty high compression, at 10.x:1, so that's a little high to run any boost higher than that kit is set for. Also, the cylinder walls on that motor are too weak to be running anything higher. You should be safe running only 7 pounds, but I'd try not to run too hard too often, or else you could find yourself in trouble. :2cents: EG_Civic 04-08-2004, 09:46 PM Yeah Im well aware of these things. Trust me, the compression will be dropped and the block sleeved really well before the turbo goes on. I dont have a whole lot of money so when I can finally get something, I want it to last as long as possible. I would go to at least 9.0:1 CR EDIT: I know I asked about how much PSI it could run on stock internals but that was moer out of curiousity. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2013
