I bought my CRX about a month ago, but as I drove it, I realized that the suspension was in bad shape. So I took it to a shop and they said that my shocks had crapped out. My question is:

How much did you lower your CRX, is the ride comfortable, and what springs/shocks/coilovers did you use?

YES! 3 1/4 inches on true coilovers by fulcrumsuspensions. 260lb front springs, 220 rear.

(cool. Another opportunity to post a pic of my rex!)

I use Tokico struts and H&R springs. 1.8 inch drop and a nice ride. I love them!

I previously ran Weapon-R coilovers with KYB G2 shocks and the ride sucked. I now have Eibach Sportlines with 1.5 drop and KYB AGX's and the ride still isnt the best but better then my other setup. Also I do have some scraping issues with my 17's and this drop but I guess I just have to deal with it. Hope this helps.

I have about a 2" drop on ground control coilovers and tokico illuminas. The ride is pretty good. It's not cushy soft like stock... you can feel almost all the little bumps in the road... but you get really good feedback from the suspension and can tell pretty well how close you are to the traction limit of your tires. It could probably be a little softer.. I think the piston in the tokicos is too long. For racing it's pretty nice, tough.
