Started out a DTM car. I figured i make it street.. Not much done to it yet, Paint is TS-43(racing Green) by tamiya, CF is my homemade stuff.. Thank's for looking....

Nice project! The CF looks excellent, I almost had mistaken it for SAS. Somebody should do a complete CF car, exterior and all.

How did you print your CF??? It looks glossy, and more bondable than paper.

The CF is printed on Testor Decal paper.. and sprayed with the decal bonder.. Applyed with micro-set and clear coated..

Thanks for the insight on the CF. Is the Testors Decal Paper good? Would you reccomend it to others? Does it come with bonder? Did you print it with an inkjet or laserprinter? Any other suggestions about the testors decal paper? It is waterslide decal paper, correct?

Love the look on it Josh!, Seems like our CF experiments gave great results. Awesome work. Darn it. looking at it makes me want to do an All CF car. O and Mike the testor kits does come with waterslide decal paper (white/clear). I myself recommend it. Its very strong once bonded.

Joshua! wassup, sorry i'm never on aim! Great car, ok color, great cf... what rims/rims color gonna be on it?

The rims will be like they look on the car there, they are stock.. About the decal paper. The paer is for inkjet printers, it comes with the bonder.. and id recommend it to anyone.. The stuff is great. I used that on the white backed paper, Great shit.. Save's me alot of money too.. Well.. Im having some paint problems right now.. But I got it fixed. Should have most of the CF done by tonight. I got the tail lights all together. And headlights painted. I need to paint the window trim, and get this thing assembled!..

OK, I was messin around today, with my CF desing, I got it to exact scale.. Paint is fixed.. No pic's. Too much orange peel I gotta sand out. I will have pic's in 2-3 hour's.. Just let me sand/polish the body!..

great build, needs more CF. the grass green color is ok, i would have gone with a more metalic green, but you made it looks great. very high gloss

Oh.. Don't worry, It will have more CF, the lower bottom panels will be all CF. and the wing..

Looks really good. The paint is nice and glossy.

I think the rear diffuser should be CF too, just IMO.

Sorry, I don't have the design i started out with and my whole CF design is 8.5 meg's so i don't think i can upload it.. PM RB26DETT-GTR and im sure he can give you the original design..

how did you make the weave it looks great, i have been experimenting with photoshop, i came up with a new weave that is smaller, but nothing like your i want it to be awsome

cool, i started with a small 1/2inch by 1/2 inch square i found, in the most unliekly place, on a free hit counter site, hey it looked great so i took abut 40 squares to cover a sheet and it was nice.

Lexmark Z25 inkjet printer..No more pic's yet.. Havent got anything more done.

If you need to darken the carbon fibre, hit it with a few light coats of Tamiya 'Smoke'.
