I have a 1992 Chevy Lumina van. It runs fine untill I touch the brake or try to use blinkers. The headlihgts also come on when I touch the brakes. If anyone knows what it could be please help. :banghead:

you must have some major short-outs... or if its anything like my dads old car, the brake light are connected to the radio, the speakers were running off the tail lights, and it was rigged with a toggle switch to run the starter...but, have you owned the car for a long time? if so....have you had any problems before?

I have owned it about 3 years. The problem just started happening. Come to think of it I just took out the radio just befor this started and just taped off each wire.

Sounds like you must've made a mistake while taking out your radio. Also, maybe you should post this in a Pontiac Trans Sport forum in addition to this one.

I've been checking wires all day so far nothing. Thanks I'll check that forum maybe something will be there.

check for loose wires on firewall behind battary most likely you are going to find the problem there
