I got it for free and there is no welding to be done, just the cost of interior and missing bits and peices.

It would be quite unique in the US. What year is that? Swing axle tranny, vents behind the rear quarter windows, metal dash, standard, '74 up seat tracks, single port... is it mexican production? In the US we got some early '70's beetle imported from Mexico that were similar. It looks like alot of work. How rare is it over there?

i think its a '74 i never got the paperwork with it which is a problem. the shape is different to the standard models and ive been trying to figure the exact model for my self. im not even sure on the engine size, im guessing a 1303 but if ne one can help me on any thing that will give me a clue then it would be appreciated.
