wondering if there is a differencetegerick 04-02-2004, 01:23 AM hey any of yall know if ther is a difference between integra gsr and ls fuel pump? tegerick 04-02-2004, 01:02 PM i guess no one knows then Kirwan 04-02-2004, 07:20 PM You might have to wait a little more than 12 hours for the right person to come along. This isn't a very fast moving board. Without any actual experience in the matter, I'd guess that they use the same fuel pump. These fuel injected cars use a pressurized system with return bypass; there's a fair amount of tweaking that can be done by setting the fuel pressure regulator, so long as the pump puts out enough flow. I doubt the difference between 140 and 190 hp is enough fuel flow to require a different pump. Back when I did mustangs, we didn't go to larger pumps until we'd almost doubled the stock HP (from 225 to 400). whtteg 04-02-2004, 09:08 PM They are the same. You don't need a larger one unless you are going to see 250 ish hp. tegerick 04-02-2004, 09:56 PM what about when the vtec come in does that make a diff. shouldnt a gsr be more powful then a ls whtteg 04-02-2004, 10:19 PM No the fuel pressure is changed by vacum and the extra fuel is delivered by changing the duty cycle of the injectors and the extra fuel pressure. tegerick 04-02-2004, 10:24 PM so i guess all the honda and acura pumps are the same? whtteg 04-02-2004, 10:34 PM No just the different modles of integra's. If yoiu want a higher flowing fuel pump then buy a Walboro they cost like $98 and flow 255lph. tegerick 04-03-2004, 03:19 PM well thanks guys vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
