Noise

re: 2000 accord EX 4dr


There is a buzzing sound that I hear when right side windows are open and my speed is around 40mph.......especially when driving by a wall that reflects the sound back.

It sounds like the heat shield is vibrating or buzzing. And the sound can stop and start quickly.

Has anyone solved this problem if its happened to them?

p.s. just changed out the rear brake pads as the squeel strips were starting to scream. Isn't 33,000 miles a tad soon for a Honda? Fronts seem ok for now.

I've not noticed any buzzing in mine but I do think that the 33K to replace the brake pads is a tad soon - especially the rear ones. Do you drive the car really hard?
