How can I make a custom avatar?

you need to upload the picture somewhare (small picture)

then go in your User CP higher and you will see a place to put a URL of your avatar

get a photo and resize it using an photo editing program.....
checkout the photoshop section of af they can give more help than i can.

You don't have to upload the photo through a web host to get your avatar on AF.com. You can upload avatars from your PC.

I am having probs, I resized my picture to 100 by 100 pixels and it still wont take it... :(

You need to make sure the file size is smaller than the maximum allowed file size and the correct format too.
