And when i putted the tamiya epoxy putty on i realised that it was mutch harder to work with than the first one. but it was beter in one way, you could shape it mutch easyer when you was putting it on. but it whas harder to sand down. I must start sandin the smal scratches and so on down... but should i waint a week tills it have hardened? hks_booster 05-06-2004, 10:43 AM I dont think so Anton. I dont know anything that dries in such a long time. GvEman 05-06-2004, 12:44 PM Hks but not drying for hardening... GvEman 05-25-2004, 05:31 PM i desided that the old hood(the one I have on the other piks) looked like crap so i started with a new one... sorry for bad photos... it is 11:30 pm http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/131638Shelby_Series_1_29.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/131638Shelby_Series_1_28.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/131638Shelby_Series_1_27.jpg Howielong 05-25-2004, 05:33 PM Looks good. GvEman 06-04-2004, 07:07 PM I have putted putty on the hood now and started to sand it down. But it’s a slow progress as usual. And I have started to re make the chassis to. But one question to any one that follows this… when I first built this one I made the brake dishes gold with red calibres. Should I let them be that way or should I paint them like stoptech brakes? Pictures of the chassis might come up to morrow…. Howielong 06-04-2004, 09:53 PM Wow you did some more to this. I haven't touched mine in a while. Maybe updates this weekend if im lucky. Any way. I think sliver breaks with yellow calipers would look hot but it is your car. AstroRide44 06-04-2004, 10:51 PM personally, i think the stock hood with the big hole looks the best even though its stock GvEman 06-05-2004, 01:09 PM Well I have tested to add the wheels, and I saw that I must lower it a bit in the front... and sorry for the big peaces of tape across the body. But here you have some pictures…. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/131638Shelby_Series_1_30-med.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/131638Shelby_Series_1_31-med.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/131638Shelby_Series_1_32-med.jpg As you se, I must lower it a bit. http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/502/131638Shelby_Series_1_33-med.jpg GTmike400 06-05-2004, 02:13 PM Looks good, whats with all the tape?
