Warantee Voiding???Joseph1082 03-31-2004, 12:52 AM Hey, I didn't know where else ot place this thread... If anyone could help me, I have a warantee on my car, a GM Chevrolet Camaro. I want to start modifying it, starting small, cat-back exhaust, but I've heard it will void the whole warantee. I don't care if I loose the warantee on the exhaust, but I don't want to loose it on the drivetrain. A guy at the chevy dealership was telling me I could buy some kind of extended warantee that would allow me to modify, but i think it was a hustle. Also, the guy who owned it before already put on an intake, did this already screw me... thank you for any help. Igovert500 04-01-2004, 05:53 PM It wouldn't surprise me if it really did void your warranty entirely. Dealerships are like that and would try to screw you out of your money. Try calling GM, or a few different dealerships and ask them. As far as the intake, I don't think they would care too much about that. You could always argue it, if they tried to void it. Joseph1082 04-02-2004, 04:05 AM Thanks for the advice, it's kind messed up that an exhaust would do that. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
