Rota wheels...Jszy 03-30-2004, 07:55 PM What is the cheapest place to buy rota circuit 8 wheels in 16"? Search comes up with shit... projectsilvia97 03-30-2004, 08:20 PM go to www.machiii.net they gots hella cheap prices. that could be the wrong link, if it is, tell me, and i'll actually look it up :) Jszy 03-31-2004, 05:24 PM Thanks...that is a good site with good prices. whiteracer 03-31-2004, 07:01 PM that's a decent price. I'm picking my c-8's up for 435. :-) liquidflame8 04-01-2004, 05:37 AM i ordered my struts from there and they came in 3 days. Jszy 04-04-2004, 07:39 PM Does anyone know the biggest tire I can put on a 16" rim on my 1990 integra GS? SilverY2KCivic 04-05-2004, 04:24 AM Does anyone know the biggest tire I can put on a 16" rim on my 1990 integra GS? Umm, "16? But seriously, how wide is the wheel? 5.5, 6J, 6.5...? If it's 6.5 then you can fit 205 width tire. If 7J width, then a 215 tire... Jszy 04-05-2004, 05:12 PM Why so hesitant with the 16inch wheels silvery2kcivic? I have 17's now and I bubbled a tire in a couple months from pot holes cause the side walls are way too small. And the 16's will be better for racing. SilverY2KCivic 04-05-2004, 08:15 PM Why so hesitant with the 16inch wheels silvery2kcivic? I have 17's now and I bubbled a tire in a couple months from pot holes cause the side walls are way too small. And the 16's will be better for racing. I was just being an ass with my answer. You said "what size tire do I use on "16 wheels..." I said "umm, "16?" Ok, anyways... I always say, the smaller the better. I run "15's on my Civic. 15x6.5 wheel size to be exact. But when you ask what size tire, we gotta know how WIDE the wheel is, not it's diameter. That's irrelivant because of course a "16 wheel can only fit a "16 diameter tire. I wouldn't go any lower then a 45 size profile, but 50 would beest IMO. I think standard for say a 16x7J size wheel, is 215/45 16 size tire... But again, post up in here the width of the wheel you want to get. Jszy 04-05-2004, 10:10 PM The Rotas I am looking at are 16x7. You said standard is 16x7J. What does the J stand for? mxroot 04-06-2004, 01:13 AM i have Rota Circuit 8's on my 96 teg. my tires are 205/45/16. that was the standard for the wheels for my car. jajimo 04-06-2004, 01:06 PM Anyone think 16"s are too small for an accord? Jszy 04-06-2004, 02:45 PM Hey mxroot, do you have any pics of your car with the rotas on it? 90gs 04-06-2004, 04:55 PM you can put 205s on a 15x6, you just overinflate them slightly 205 is standard for a 6.5" wide, although you could probably put a 215 on it, because you can put 205s on a 6" wide mxroot 04-06-2004, 11:55 PM Hey mxroot, do you have any pics of your car with the rotas on it? http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/111762tegside-med.jpg liquidflame8 04-07-2004, 12:58 AM i had 205/60/13's. on my stock steelies. everyones like wtf joeyttw 07-10-2004, 02:25 AM i can hook u up wid some rotas for a good price. i can get the whole line of rota. the rota gt3's are hott right now. i can hook u up. get back at me thanks. b18 ls 07-12-2004, 03:33 PM I need some gold rota slips. 16' how much?....fISH Zanark 07-12-2004, 05:58 PM those dont look that bad but why are these wheels so damn cheap? Are they good quality or no? Im driving on a damn hub right now so I need to either buy another ls wheel which is $250 remanufactored(fuck that) or buy some new ones. Was gonna get some shits from wheelnext.com but now hmmm SilverY2KCivic 07-12-2004, 10:59 PM those dont look that bad but why are these wheels so damn cheap? Are they good quality or no? Im driving on a damn hub right now so I need to either buy another ls wheel which is $250 remanufactored(fuck that) or buy some new ones. Was gonna get some shits from wheelnext.com but now hmmm I just got myself some new wheels a couple weeks ago, a set of "16 Rota Grids in black with a polished lip. Very nice wheels, I got them for $450 from a local shop. Damn best deal around for "16's! I wrapped them in a set of 215/45 16 Falken Azenis Sport tires for maximum handling while out on the daily grind. These wheels replaced my "15 Rota Circuit 8's that I had on before them, those wheels wrapped in some 205/50 15 Yokohama ES100 tires will now be my race only wheels for auto-X. But I'd definitely recommend Rota wheels to anyone looking for a very inexpensive but still classy and tasteful wheel. Most of their designs ARE knock-offs of other muvh more expensive and popular "designer" wheels such as Mugen and Volk Racing. Miataracer 07-12-2004, 11:58 PM i have rotas on my car. they seem to be well made, good finish, no problems with them at all nonstopmotorsports 08-08-2004, 03:25 PM They are inexpensive but the quality is very good IMO. For the price they are the best bang for your buck. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
