I've been looking into this 87' 944 turbo 91kmiles. As far as I can tell its in great shape. It has all of its maintenance recs. A new clutch and waterpump were put in 65kmile and 69kmiles(i forget which onw was put in when). The timing belt was replaced I think at 85k. He's asking 7,900 for it. I have heard something about needing to replace the head gaskets on porsches after a while. I don't think thats been replaced yet. How much do i need to worry about that?
I am woried about maintenance , if I get this I will be driving it as my reg. car. For some reason that sounds like I would be doing some sort of injustice to the car. what do you think? It seems to be avery well maintained. should I take it somewhere to make sure? I've test drove it a few times it looks great. The only problem is a tiny powersteering leak where the tubing meets the metal. Any Ideas on that ( urgency?). It seems to be in great cond. i thought i'd mention it though.
well what do you think I should do and am l looking at a alot in maintenance due to the everyday driving. I have to decide soon any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated. -Thanks
